About the role:

Candidate requirements:

- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Recent experience working in a school setting is essential
- Strong behaviour management and classroom skills

Premier Education are working with a well-established and welcoming secondary school to recruit a School Caretaker / Site Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the site.

You will have operational responsibility for the site, ensuring the school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, clean and well maintained for pupils, staff and visitors at all times

The Role

As School Caretaker / Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the general maintenance and upkeep of the school buildings and grounds
  • Carrying out routine maintenance, basic repairs and DIY tasks during the school day
  • Managing site security opening and closing the site, key-holding, alarms, CCTV and responding to emergencies
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and supporting the cleaning team and lunchtime supervisors
  • Managing contractors on site and monitoring external services such as window cleaning
  • Maintaining health & safety standards, including fire safety, legionella checks, asbestos records and risk assessments

  • Has a strong understanding of health & safety procedures

This is a fixed-term temporary role running from February until the end of June 2026, making it ideal for an experienced Exams Officer who enjoys a fast-paced, highly organised role within a supportive school environment.

The Role

As Exams Officer, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth delivery of all internal and external examinations, including:

  • Managing the full exams cycle from preparation through to results
  • Liaising with exam boards, senior leaders, staff and external agencies
  • Organising exam timetables, entries, access arrangements and rooming
  • Coordinating invigilation cover and ensuring exam regulations are followed at all times
