Premier Education is working in partnership with a Stockport Primary school who are looking for a SENCO to start immediately to cover an ongoing role.

This role is a long-term, part-time opportunity to work within a great community. As a SENCO you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with multiple agencies and the local authority.
  • EHCP updates and referrals
  • Monitoring the progress and development of students, in particular those with SEN.
  • Implementing and developing SEN policies and procedures.
  • Attending regular meetings with SLT and outside agencies
  • Providing guidance to colleagues on the best strategies and initiatives when teaching pupils with SEN

This position is incredibly diverse and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work across different sites owned by the school. You will be required to be flexible and able to drive.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Will have recent or relevant experience working as a SENCO
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Must have the NASENCO qualification or equivalent
  • Have access to a car or hold a full driving license
