Premier Education require experienced Teaching Assistants to work in some wonderful primary schools in Runcorn and the surrounding areas. We work with schools for short term and long term positions on a supply basis in Runcorn, Warrington, Wides, St Helens and Northwich - many of whom book regularly and some of our former candidates now in permanent roles.

We have both day to day, short-term cover and are expecting long term cover roles in January within Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Stage 2. We have taken on new clients due to the level of service we offer and need more people for our clients in these areas.

The role will be to support the class teacher and students. If you have classroom experience and have successfully supported pupils’ learning in whole class, small group and one-to-one environments then we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate would:

 - Have experience working within a school environment

- Be confident working independently and within a team

- Have excellent knowledge of the different Key Stages and  National Curriculum

- Be confident and possess a positive approach to behaviour management

- Be able to plan and organise and use own initiative

  • Delivering Maths from Year 7 to Year 10
  • Mixed timetable with mixture of sets and abilities
  • Working in part of a warm, friendly and welcoming Maths Department
  • Lots of extra-curricular activities if keen to get involved
  • Supporting in recognising where interventions may be required
  • Keen to help in achieving the Academy goals and mission
