Job Opportunity: Teacher of Spanish and French (KS3 & KS4)

Are you passionate about languages and inspiring young minds? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish and French to join a great rural Secondary school from September to December, with the possibility of extension.

Role:

Position: Teacher of Spanish and French

Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

Duration: September to December (initially)

Location: nr Stoke on Trent

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Spanish and French for students at KS3 and KS4 levels.

Develop and implement schemes of work that reflect the curriculum and the school’s vision.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for languages and encourages student participation.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language department and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Proficiency in both Spanish and French, with experience teaching these languages at KS3 and KS4.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
