£80 - £120 per day

Monday to Friday (part time options available)

Do you have a career in sports and wish to work in a secondary school setting? 

Are you able to support a Teacher of PE in ensuring the highest standards of the PE curriculum are met? 

Do you have experience in ensuring high levels of safeguarding of young people are maintained?

Set in a quieter part of Bradford with easy access to the countryside, this school boast a spacious working environment with a friendly atmosphere.

Presenting a high quality opportunity to work as a PE Assistant in a Bradford based Academy.

As a PE Assistant you will be working with the Head of PE and various PE Teachers in making sure that all lessons cover the appropriate areas of sport. You will support in the set up of lessons including monitoring changing rooms during lesson change over. 

All applications for this role require an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service. Full reference checking will be conducted.

The post is suitable for aspiring PE Teachers and PE graduates who are interested in working with children.

• Sports enthusiast with degree level qualifications to support your application would be desirable 
• Previous experience working with children (youth groups, football clubs)
• Able to work with a range of student abilities
• Excellent work ethic and a team player attitude
• Able to implement consistent behaviour management
• Strong organisational skills
• The ability to collaborate effectively
• Work constructively as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of a broad range of sports 
• High resilience
