PA and School Administration

BASED IN BRADFORD at an ACADEMY (school based environment)

HOURS NEGOTIABLE!!!

Starting ASAP!!

Full time role

In post until December at the earliest

£80 - £130 per day based on previous experience

Have you worked in a school office before, including assisting a Principal or Headteacher?

Do you have a strong understanding of how school administration operates?

About the role:

 

Working within a leading Academy Trust within the Bradford area, you will be tasked with working closely alongside the Principal of the Academy and the members of SLT. You will be supporting key administrative duties across the whole of the Academy, conducting essential tasks to ensure the smooth running of the establishment:

 

About the job:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Working Monday to Friday during school hours (hours can be negotiable)
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and any logistical arrangement
  • Speak to parents / guardians directly and manage any complaints in a professional manner
  • Assist in the management of the Principal's email inbox
  • Managing the diary of the Principal
  • Assist with data entry and record keeping, including minutes of meetings
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing including writing letters and proof reading correspondence

About you:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Previous experience in a similar school based PA / Administration role
  • High attention to safeguarding responsibilities
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional demeanour and strong work ethic
