Are you going to be available for a new long term role within a school?

Are you interested in working within a school Science department on supply?  

We are recruiting for an experienced Science Technician to start work in ASAP within a school based in the Bradford area. Working with a dedicated Science department, you will be passionate about supporting the  highest quality Science lessons to the ages of between 11 and 16 years of age. You will have experience of helping with the set up of Science lessons and maintaining the technical side of the Science’s departments facilities.

This role is available to a professional who would also be interested in being a Science Technician within the school’s Science department. This may be due to previous experience working in a school as a Science Technician or in a similar role that requires technical knowledge, lab based experience and working with young people.

About the job:

• Working as part of the school's faculty
• Science Technician within the school’s Science department
• Assisting in the set up of lessons

• Full time, Monday to Friday, working within school hours

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician within a secondary school
• Lab based experience
• DBS on the update service
• Excellent skills in Science
• Able to use modern technician techniques
• Robust in nature
• Able to work well with young people
• Supportive and calm
• Works well within a team
