The role will involve working with a children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and are working on a personalised curriculum. The children require continuous support and the teaching assistant must be comfortable working with the children on a personalised curriculum.

Specialist provision
Premier Education is working in partnership with a specialist provision in the Stokearea who supports children and young people aged 11-16 years old who have a diagnosis of SEMH (social, emotional and mental health). They are currently looking for a number of specialist staff to work in their provision on a long term and full time basis.
If you are a English teacher and are looking for a new and exciting role to start in April 2023 then we would love to hear from you. You would be responsible for teaching pupils in KS3 and KS4 who can sometimes exhibit challenging behaviours and so the ability to be committed and resilient is essential.
Working in an SEMH environment can be one of the most rewarding education settings as many pupils come from sensitive and vulnerable backgrounds and you could be a part of a multi-disciplinary team working to ensure structure and balance is added to their lives.
Ideally Candidates will have:
· Will have recent or relevant experience working with SEMH / ESBD
· Will have QTS/QTLS or an appropriate teaching qualification
· Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
· Will be dedicated, committed and passionate
· Will have a good understanding of the needs within specialist and mainstream provisions
· Have access to a car or be familiar with public transport routes
· Will responsible, safe and inclusive when planning and implementing lessons for students
· Have qualifications relevant to working in SEND establishments e.g. Team Teach, Moving and Handling, MAPA etc.

Food Technology Teacher (SEMH)
Premier Education is currently working on behalf of a fabulous SEMH provision in the Stoke area that is looking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher to start as soon as possible. This role will be full-time and lasting until at least Summer with potential to become permanent if successful.
The role would require the candidate to teach small groups of students between the ages of 11 and 16 with Attachment disorders and other SEMH needs. You would be teaching the fundamental skills within Food Technology such as safety in the kitchen, nutrition and healthy eating and instilling a love of cooking in a fun and accessible way.
The ideal candidate will ideally have prior experience of working with pupils with a wide range of SEMH needs and have a proven track-record as a teacher specialising in Food Technology. Most importantly, you must have a genuine interest in supporting SEMH pupils.

We are currently working with a specialist school in Bolton who are looking to recruit a learning support assistant at their brand-new custom-built school building due to an expansion! The role is to support their Primary aged students with SEND. The school is a specialist provider of education for children with Complex and Medical SEND. They also have additional needs such as ASC, SLD, MLD and PMLD. Class sizes are small, and each will be led by a specialised primary teacher experienced in meeting the complex needs of the children. The role is full time and ongoing and is due to start in January.
