Premier Education is delighted to be recruiting for a fantastic specialist SEND school and college in Bolton, looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to work with a small Sixth Form class.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people as they prepare for the next stage of their journey.
About the Class
You will be teaching a small group of students aged between 16 and 19, all of whom have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Students communicate verbally, although some benefit from additional visual support, including symbol-supported worksheets and timetables.
The students are currently working between Entry Levels 1 and 2, with teaching tailored to their individual abilities, learning styles and aspirations.
With such a small class, you'll have the opportunity to really get to know your students, build positive relationships and celebrate their progress.
