We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Playworker to join a busy Out of School Club on a long-term supply basis in a wonderful Primary School/
This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys working with primary-aged children and is looking for a consistent role with every school day worked, but plenty of free time in between shifts!
The Role
Working with children aged 4–11, you will help make the breakfast and after-school club a safe, happy and engaging place to be. You'll:

Plan and deliver fun, creative and age-appropriate play activities

Encourage positive behaviour and support children's emotional wellbeing

Help create an inclusive environment where every child feels welcome

Ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for

Build positive relationships with children, parents and school staff

Work closely with the wider club and school team

Use your initiative to keep sessions running smoothly
We would love to hear from you if you:

Have previous experience working with children aged 4–11

Understand that every child and family has different needs

Are creative, enthusiastic and confident organising activities

Have a warm and positive approach to behaviour

Are a good communicator and team player

Have plenty of common sense, initiative and sound judgement

Can provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment for children

Have a good standard of spoken and written English
First Aid, Food Hygiene and/or Safeguarding certificates would be advantageous, but are not essential.
This is expected to be a long-term supply position while the school recruits permanently, making it ideal for someone looking for regular, reliable work throughout the school term.
