Premier Education is an independent education recruitment agency, working only in education since 2001. Our specialism is Early Years, primary and SEN, and we also recruit secondary teachers and cover supervisors, on both temporary and permanent contracts.
Cover supervision is one of the most common ways into secondary work. You take a class when the regular teacher is absent and deliver work that has already been set, so you do not need qualified teacher status. Supply teaching needs QTS.
Placements range from day-to-day cover to long term and permanent posts, and you choose the days you work.

Do I need QTS to be a cover supervisor?
No. A cover supervisor delivers work a teacher has already set, so qualified teacher status is not needed. To work as a supply teacher you do need QTS.
Do you only place staff in primary schools?
No. Our specialism is Early Years, primary and SEN, but we do recruit secondary teachers and cover supervisors as well. Ask your consultant what is available in your area.
Can I work part time?
Yes. Placements range from half a day a week upwards, and you tell us the days you want.
How am I paid?
Weekly, in arrears, on a Friday by BACS directly into your bank account, with no registration fee.
