Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant – Warrington

Are you a nurturing and patient Teaching Assistant who loves working with younger children and making a real difference?

We are working with a lovely, welcoming primary school in Warrington who are looking for an Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the energy and creativity of Early Years, while providing additional support to children with SEND to help them feel happy, confident and included in school.

The role will involve:

• Supporting children within an Early Years setting, including pupils with additional needs
• Providing individual and small-group support where required
• Helping children develop their communication, social and emotional skills
• Supporting learning through play and engaging Early Years activities
• Helping children with routines, transitions and regulation
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team
• Creating a safe, positive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience working with children in EYFS, SEND or a similar setting
• Are calm, caring and able to build strong relationships with young children
• Understand that every child communicates and learns differently
• Are proactive, enthusiastic and happy to get involved in all aspects of Early Years
• Are looking for a long-term role where you can really become part of the school community

Previous experience supporting children with SEND would be particularly valuable, although we would also love to hear from strong Early Years practitioners or Teaching Assistants looking to develop their SEND experience.
