We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in schools across East Cheshire. Whether you’re looking for full-time (5 days a week) or flexible, part-time opportunities on an ad-hoc basis, we have a role for you.
About the Role
- Supporting classroom activities and assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support, often working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Temporary assignments that vary in length, giving you the chance to work in different school settings.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable (but not essential, as training can be provided).
- A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach, especially when working with SEND students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
