Experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant

Location: CW3 postcode area
Contract: Full-time, temporary
Duration: 5th January to February half term, with the likelihood of a further extension
Working Pattern: 5 days per week
Pay: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience Paid PAYE NOT Umbrella

About the Role
Premier Education is seeking an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant with a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum to support pupils on a full-time basis within a welcoming primary school in the CW3 area.

This role is ideal for a dedicated TA who can work proactively with class teachers, provide targeted support to pupils, and contribute positively to the learning environment. There is a strong possibility of the role being extended beyond February half term for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning across the KS2 curriculum
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Support pupils with a range of learning needs
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant within KS2
  • Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
