Teaching Assistant (Level 2) needed near Huyton from after half term!

Location: Near Huyton

Contract: TA level 2 (minimum) needed from 3/11 - 19/12 and could be on-going.

Premier Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant (level 2 minimum) to join a wonderful primary school near Huyton. The school are requiring a TA level 2 (minimum) to be a general TA and carry out regular Teaching Assistant duties alongside supporting small groups and becoming a key part of the team at the school, and a key role model for the children there.

About the role:

- Responsible for supporting the delivery of engaging activities and providing individual or group interventions

- Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development

- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure pupil progress

- Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life as required

Candidate requirements:

- Relevant experience and/or qualifications in a TA or SEN support role

- Experience supporting pupils across EYFS / KS1 / KS2 settings is desirable

- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

- A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching

- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)

Pay:

£444.00 - £500.00 per week (dependent on qualifications and experience).
