1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Altrincham
Contract: Part-time and temporary (Monday - Friday mornings ONLY 8:30 - 1pm), until the rest of the academic year.

Premier Education is working in partnership with a wonderful mainstream Altrincham primary school who are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and caring an 1-1 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 in Y6 to support a boy with an EHCP. He's a very sweet and well behaved boy, but benefits from have a nurturing and supportive TA to support him in class with the work.
About the role:
You will be working closely with the Class Teacher to ensure that the child you are working with receive the best possible academic support and to ensure that any class input is supplemented with effective interventions.
Candidate requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Recent experience working in a school setting is essential
- Strong behaviour management and classroom skills
- A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to education
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
Pay:
£54.72 - £61.56 per day
