1:1 KS1 Teaching Assistant – High Lane Area

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Until July
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start: ASAP

Premier Education is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with an KS1 child at a welcoming primary school in the High Lane area.

This is a full-time role (5 days per week), running until July, and would suit an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant or someone with a strong background in early years or SEN support.

The Role:

• Position: 1:1  Teaching Assistant

• Location: High Lane area

• Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

• Contract: Temporary, until July

• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a child in the classroom

• Support learning, engagement, and emotional development

• Follow guidance from the class teacher and SENCo

• Encourage positive behaviour and independence

• Help create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working in ks1

• Experience supporting a child 1:1 (desirable)

• A caring, patient, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures
