Role: SEND Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs)

Location: Crewe / Nantwich Areas

Mon – Fri Full days (Part Time Mornings Only also optional)

Experience with ASC/Complex Needs pupils is ESSENTIAL

£88.92 - £100 per day

Premier Education are working with an excellent primary school in the Crewe area, who wish to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to join their hard working, successful and forward thinking school, within their resource provision. This role requires supporting a pupil with Complex Needs who needs keeping on task at all times and needs help managing their behaviour.

The successful applicant will have proven experience of working with SEN and have a range of strategies to promote good behaviour and establish a purposeful learning environment. Excellent organisation and communication skills to deal with both children and adults are essential along with the ability to work under supervision and as a team member.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has knowledge of SEN and/or a willingness to learn more
• Be able to work with parents of this pupil and communicate on a daily basis with them
• Are willing to put the needs of the children at the centre of all they do
• Have a good attitude and are keen to develop their existing skills and learn new ones
• Are willing to contribute to the wider life of the school and the parish
• Committed to maintaining the Catholic ethos of the school and support our Mission Statement and aims
• A team player with the ability to develop strong relationships with parents, pupils, staff and outside agencies
• A teaching qualification would be highly advantageous
