£12.50 -£14 an hour depending on experience
Full time Mon to Fri

Usually 7.30am - 11.00am and then 2.00pm - 5.30pm

Would include site, grounds duties and cleaning.

Premier Education are working with a primary school in the Macclesfield area who are looking for someone to work as a school caretaker on a temporary basis. The role is to start as soon in September and will extend pending recruitment to the permanent position.

Taking guidance from the head of school, the role will involve the following:

- Key holding duties - unlocking and locking the school.
- All aspects of cleaning including mopping, hoovering, and cleaning tables.
- Manual handling duties such as moving furniture and setting up classrooms.
- Litter Picking and emptying external bins.
- Carrying out Daily, Weekly and Monthly health and safety checks such as emergency lighting tests and fire alarm tests.
- Management of all contractors and cleaners

Have a keen eye for detail
