About the role:
We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our Trafford primary schools from September. Our clients offer placements in a variety of classes with daily supply, short-term and long-term opportunities often available.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher with daily teaching and learning activities
- Deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups
- Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to planning and assessment under the guidance of the teacher
- Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or above) – essential
- Recent experience working in a primary school setting – EYFS or KS1 preference
- Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
- Ability to engage and motivate learners
- Committed, flexible and proactive with excellent communication skills
- A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
