1:1 Teaching Assistant

Mon – Fri

Experience with pupils with SEN desirable 

£70 - £85 per day

Starting 17th April 

BL3 area

Potential for a long term role for the right candidate

School are looking for candidates to trial next week 

 

 

Premier Education are working with a wonderful primary school in the Bolton area, who wish to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to join their hard working, successful and forward thinking school, mainly in the Reception classroom. This role requires 1:1 support for a pupil in reception who struggles with communication and interaction, and also supporting pupils around the school.

 

The successful applicant will have proven experience of working in reception and have a range of strategies to promote a calm and effective learning environment for children additional needs. Excellent organisation and communication skills to deal with both children and adults are essential along with the ability to work under supervision and as a team member. 

 

We are looking for someone who:

Has knowledge of in particularly autism and/or a willingness to learn more

Be able to work with parents of this pupil and communicate on a daily basis with them

Are willing to put the needs of the children at the centre of all they do

Have a good attitude and are keen to develop their existing skills and learn new ones

Are willing to contribute to the wider life of the school and the parish

Committed to maintaining the ethos of the school and support our Mission Statement and aims

A team player with the ability to develop strong relationships with parents, pupils, staff and outside agencies
