SEND Teaching Assistant

Premier Education are looking for candidates with SEND backgrounds to work in one of our schools in the Oldham/Failsworth area and have vacancies for teaching staff and support staff working with children of primary and secondary age. As part of the specialist team at Premier, we are on the hunt for high quality SEND support staff to support some vulnerable children with their education.

If you have recent and relevant experience supporting children and young people with additional needs including: ASD, SEMH, Communication difficulties, or those with more complex needs then we would be interested in having a conversation with you.

The schools currently have vacancies for both long and short term roles.

Ideal candidates will:
• Have experience working with children and young people who have a range of SEND
• Be sensitive to the needs and backgrounds of children with a variety of SEN needs
• Experience delivering personal care would be advantageous
• Have passion and interest in gaining or developing experience in the SEND sector
• Be available September for long or short term work
• Have a DBS on the online update service or be willing to apply for one
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references to cover the last 2 years employment history
• Hold relevant training or qualifications related to working in schools / SEND provisions
