A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Stockport area is seeking a dedicated and adaptable ICT Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent and offers the rewarding opportunity to work closely with students on the autism spectrum.
Teaching ICT across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of some KS5 depending on experience
Working with a specialist setting that supports students with autism through smaller group sizes and a structured, supportive environment
Delivering well-planned and accessible lessons that engage and challenge learners at various ability levels
Playing a key role in the school’s commitment to personalised learning and inclusive education
Participating in CPD, review meetings, and contributing to wider school life
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised UK teaching qualification
Recent experience teaching ICT, ideally across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience an advantage)
A compassionate, reflective teaching approach with a strong interest in supporting neurodiverse learners
Confident classroom management skills and the ability to tailor delivery to suit individual needs
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Clear understanding of safeguarding in line with KCSIE
£145–£200 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
