ICT Teacher – KS3 to KS4 (with potential KS5)

Location: Stockport area, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Stockport area is seeking a dedicated and adaptable ICT Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent and offers the rewarding opportunity to work closely with students on the autism spectrum.

About the Role

• Teaching ICT across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of some KS5 depending on experience

• Working with a specialist setting that supports students with autism through smaller group sizes and a structured, supportive environment

• Delivering well-planned and accessible lessons that engage and challenge learners at various ability levels

• Playing a key role in the school’s commitment to personalised learning and inclusive education

• Participating in CPD, review meetings, and contributing to wider school life

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised UK teaching qualification

• Recent experience teaching ICT, ideally across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience an advantage)

• A compassionate, reflective teaching approach with a strong interest in supporting neurodiverse learners

• Confident classroom management skills and the ability to tailor delivery to suit individual needs

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• Clear understanding of safeguarding in line with KCSIE

Pay

£145–£200 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
