Higher Level Teaching Assistant - maternity cover - to start 28 February.

Are you a passionate and resilient teaching assistant with experience supporting children with Learning Difficulties, in particular ASC? Are you looking
for a change of scene or challenge?

If you are, then Premier Education would like to hear from you as soon as possible! We are working with an SEN provision in the Oldham area who require a higher level teaching assistant to support primary secondary aged pupils with challenging behaviours and autism to start after half term covering a maternity cover. It is a highly challenging but rewarding environment to work in with the support from a multidisciplinary team and opportunity for permanent employment.

As a HLTA you will also be confident in taking on addition responsibilities such as leading the class to cover teacher absence and running small group interventions.

Ideal candidates will:
• Have SEND experience, in particular supporting children with autism and challenging SEMH needs.
• Be available 28 February full time for upto 12 months
• Be passionate, committed and dedicated
• Be trained in Team Teach would be beneficial.
• Adopt and enforce the ethos and wider life of the school
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references to cover the last 2 years employment history
