Job Title: Spanish Teacher – KS3/KS4

Contract: Part-Time (3 days per week), Temporary (until October half term)
A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Buxton is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join their team on a part-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a real impact in a supportive and values-led environment.
About the Role:
Teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4
Responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and inclusive MFL lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes both language learning and personal development
Working collaboratively with department colleagues and pastoral staff to support student progress and wellbeing
Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life as required
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
Recent experience teaching MFL, preferably Spanish, at KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to secondary teaching
Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
Pay:
£140–£200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
