Are you a dedicated Social Sciences specialist looking for a fresh opportunity in a supportive and scenic setting?

Would you like to teach in a friendly secondary school located in a charming small town in North Leeds, with access to beautiful surroundings and a strong sense of community?

We’re delighted to be working with a welcoming school in North Leeds to recruit a Social Sciences Teacher from September 2025. The school is open to considering both full-time and part-time options, and there is flexibility around whether the post is long-term supply or permanent, depending on the successful candidate.

The role involves delivering Social Sciences up to Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach at KS5 if you have experience in post-16 education — though this is not essential.

About the role:

  • Teaching Social Sciences (e.g. Sociology, Psychology, Health & Social Care)
  • KS4 delivery essential, KS5 optional depending on experience
  • Full-time or part-time considered
  • Start date: September 2025
  • Long-term supply with potential for a permanent role
  • Supportive school community in a scenic, peaceful setting

About you:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Subject specialism in Social Sciences is essential
  • Experience teaching KS4 (KS5 desirable but not required)
  • Committed to inclusive, engaging teaching practices
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

We Offer:

  • A wide range of long-term and permanent teaching roles across trusted secondary and SEND settings
  • A dedicated and experienced consultant to support you through every stage
  • Competitive daily pay rates that reflect your skills and experience
  • CPD opportunities and professional development tailored to your goals
  • Transparent communication and support throughout your placement
  • Access to pension contributions, referral bonuses, and additional benefits
