Premier Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded independent secondary school in West Cheshire seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join their team from September to December 2026 on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated students in a school renowned for its strong academic standards, supportive culture, and commitment to helping every pupil achieve their potential. There is also the possibility of the role becoming permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Teaching Physics across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons
- Supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Contributing to a positive and aspirational learning environment
- Working collaboratively within a successful Science department
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Physics within a secondary school setting
- Ability to teach Physics confidently across a range of age groups
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
