Job Description:
As a Science Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will be passionate about science and able to inspire students to achieve their full potential. You will be joining a dynamic and enthusiastic department, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring science lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents/carers
Contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum
Participate in school-wide events and extracurricular activities
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a degree in science or a related subject
A passion for science and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential
Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4
Strong organisational and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
