Are you a qualified Teacher of Music or have a keen interest in teaching music to secondary aged pupils?

Do you have experience in delivering music lesson to the younger generation?

We are delighted to be working with a specialist SEN provision in the Stockport area who require a Music teacher (qualified or unqualified) to work with small groups of secondary aged pupils starting as soon as possible. The pupils all have SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs) so experience within a similar setting would be advantageous as pupils have high levels of anxiety and require lots of emotional support.

The role is part time, 3 days a week Monday , Tuesday and Thursday but there is the potentially to be taken on as a full time permanent member of staff. About you:
• Able to provide high quality teaching and learning in music
• Able to coordinate programmes of study and schemes of work
• Able to track progress and deliver high quality Music lessons
• Previous experience teaching music to secondary aged pupils
• Sensitive to the needs of pupils with SEN needs, in particular those with SEMH.
