Part Time Teacher of Music

Are you a qualified Teacher of Music or have a keen interest in teaching music to secondary aged pupils?

Do you have experience in delivering music lesson to the younger generation?

We are delighted to be working with a specialist SEN provision in the Oldham area who require a Music teacher (qualified or unqualified) to work with small groups of secondary aged pupils starting as soon as possible.

The role is part time, 3 days a week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The pupils all have SEN so experience within a similar setting would be advantageous as pupils have high levels of anxiety and require lots of emotional support.

Working within a supportive setting, you will benefit from being a part of a professional team who pride themselves on delivering the highest level of education to their students as well as supporting them with emotional regulation and instilling resilience.

About you:
• Able to provide high quality teaching and learning in music
• Able to coordinate programmes of study and schemes of work
• Able to track progress and deliver high quality Music lessons
• Previous experience teaching music to secondary aged pupils
• Sensitive to the needs of pupils with SEN needs, in particular those with SEMH.
