Modern Foreign Languages Teacher – KS3 to KS4

Location: Near Wilmslow, Cheshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time (5 days/week), Temporary (September to December 2025)

A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school near Wilmslow is seeking a committed Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to deliver engaging and effective language lessons across KS3 and KS4 from September through to December 2025.

About the Role

• Teaching Modern Foreign Languages (French with some Spanish) across Key Stage 3 and 4

• Full planning, delivery, and assessment responsibilities in line with curriculum expectations

• Creating a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that fosters language acquisition and intercultural understanding

• Supporting students to progress and achieve their full potential

• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to wider school life and departmental initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification

• Proven experience teaching MFL at KS3 and KS4 level

• Strong classroom management and ability to differentiate to meet all learning needs

• A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for languages and education

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

• Sound understanding of safeguarding practices and the latest KCSIE guidance

Pay

• Competitive daily rate: £145–£200 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
