Are you a Maths teacher / functional skills teacher with experience planning, delivering and resourcing good or outstanding lessons?

Do you have experience teaching Secondary or SEN students?

Are you looking for a new challenge or opportunity and have an interest in working with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities?

If so then we are keen to speak to you! We are working in partnership with a school in the Oldham area who are looking for a Maths specialist teacher to deliver lessons to young people at their main school site. This school is a specialist provider for children and young people with Autism and Social Communication needs so a teacher with experience or confidence dealing with these needs is ideal.

Ideal candidates will:
• Have QTS, QTLS or other relevant teaching qualifications
• Have experience teaching Maths to at least Functional Skills level
• Be sensitive to the needs and backgrounds of some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people
• Have passion and interest in your subject and be committed to the wider life and ethos of schools
• Be available immediately for long term work or short term work
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references to cover the last 2 years employment history
• Have interest / experience in Special Needs Education
