Secondary Maths Teacher – SEMH Provision 

• Specialist Provision.

• Wigan area 

• Temporary long term with the potential for permanent 

• Full time 5 days per week

• £120-£200 per day 

• Immediate start available or after October half term

Are you a Maths teacher with experience planning, delivering and resourcing good or outstanding lessons?

Do you have experience teaching Secondary or students with SEMH? 

Are you looking for a new challenge or opportunity and  have an interest in working with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? 

If so then we are keen to speak to you! We are working in partnership with a school in the Wigan area who are looking for a Maths specialist teacher to deliver lessons to young people at newly equipped site based in the Wigan area. This school is a specialist provider for children and young people with social, emotional, mental health needs so a teacher with experience or confidence dealing with these or those with challenging behaviour would be ideal. 

Ideal candidates will:

• Have QTS, QTLS or other relevant teaching qualifications

• Have experience teaching Maths to GCSE

• Be sensitive to the needs and backgrounds of some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people

• Have passion and interest in your subject and be committed to the wider life and ethos of schools

• Be available immediately or after half term for long term work 

• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references to cover the last 2 years employment history

• Have interest / experience in Special Needs Education
