Mathematics / Science Teacher (Split Role)

Premier Education is seeking a committed and flexible Maths / Science Teacher to join a secondary school in the Buxton area on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is a split role, teaching a combination of Maths and Science, ideal for a confident all-rounder or a teacher with experience across both subjects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, well-planned lessons and supporting student progress within a supportive school environment.

The role:

• Teaching a split timetable of Maths and Science

• Full-time, long-term position

• Planning, marking and assessment responsibilities included

• Working closely with department staff to support curriculum delivery

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Have experience teaching Maths and/or Science at secondary level

• Be adaptable and confident across both subjects

• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
