Humanities Teacher – History / Geography / RE (KS3)

Location: Buxton
Start Date: 23rd February
Contract: Long-term
Working Pattern: 2-5 days a week

Premier Education is currently seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join a secondary school in the Buxton area from 23rd February on a long-term basis.

The successful candidate will be teaching Key Stage 3 only, delivering engaging lessons in History, Geography and/or RE. The school is open to appointing either one strong all-round Humanities teacher or splitting the role between two specialists, depending on experience and strengths.

The role:

• Teaching Humanities at KS3

• Subjects may include History, Geography and RE

• 2-5 days per week

• Long-term placement

• Planning, marking and assessment responsibilities included

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Have experience teaching Humanities at KS3

• Be confident delivering at least one of the listed subjects (History, Geography or RE)

• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

• Be committed to supporting student engagement and progress

• Have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
