Are you a qualified Teacher of Hair and Beauty or working towards QTS?

Do you have experience in delivering BTEC Hair and Beauty or similar qualifications?

We are delighted to be working with a specialist SEN provision in the Tameside area who require a Hair and Beauty Teacher or Lecturer to work with a small group of 5 KS4 pupils starting as soon as possible with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The pupils all have SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs) so experience within a similar setting would be advantageous.

Working within a supportive setting, you will benefit from being a part of a professional team who pride themselves on delivering the highest level of education to their students as well as supporting them with emotional regulation and instilling resilience.

About you:
• Able to provide high quality teaching, learning, assessment and internal moderation across a range of Hair and Beauty courses.
• Able to coordinate programmes of study and schemes of work
• Able to track progress and deliver high quality Hair and Beauty lessons
• Previous experience as a Hair and Beauty Teacher or Lecturer
• Sensitive to the needs of pupils with SEN needs, in particular those with SEMH.
