Teacher of Geography

Location: Stockport Area
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until 9th July
Hours: 5 days per week preferred
Pay: £150–£200 per day (PAYE)

Premier Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Stockport area seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their team as soon as possible until 9th July.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department and inspire students through engaging and high-quality Geography lessons.

The Role:

  • Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
