Teacher of Geography (KS3–KS4)

Location: Stockport
Contract: Full-time (5 days per week) during to summer term
Duration: Summer Term
Start Date: Start of Summer Term

Premier Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Stockport seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their team for the Summer Term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive and forward-thinking school with a strong leadership team and positive learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons

  • Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress

  • Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment

  • Contributing to the wider Humanities department

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4

  • Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A professional, adaptable, and proactive approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
