Cover Supervisors – Stockport Area

Location: Stockport
Contract: Flexible (Day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities)
Start Date: Ongoing opportunities available

Premier Education is currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in the Stockport area.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, including graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff seeking flexible work.

The Role:

  • Supervising classes during teacher absences using pre-set work
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students to stay engaged with their learning
  • Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
  • Working across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)
  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
  • Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A genuine interest in working within education
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
