Cover Supervisor – PD & Humanities

Start Date: January
Contract: Until Easter 2026
Days: Thursday and Friday

Premier Education is working with a supportive secondary school seeking a strong, confident Cover Supervisor to deliver Personal Development (PD) and Humanities lessons from January through to Easter. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor, unqualified teacher, or graduate with school experience who is confident leading whole classes and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Role Details:

· Delivering pre-planned PD and Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
· Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere
· Supervising pupils during lessons in the teacher’s absence
· Providing general support within the school when required
· Working every Thursday and Friday throughout the spring term

Candidate Requirements:

· Strong classroom presence with experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role
· Ability to engage and motivate students across KS3 and KS4
· Confident delivering lessons and managing behaviour
· Reliable, adaptable, and professional
· Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
· Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
