Teaching Assistant – Primary (Part-Time, Flexible)

Immediate & Same-Day Cover (Calls from 7:00am)
Location: Heald Green / Stockport

Premier Education is building a bank of reliable, experienced Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools across Heald Green and the wider Stockport area.

If you enjoy variety and want flexible work that fits around studies, family, or other commitments, this is an excellent opportunity. You’ll be supporting local schools that value adaptable, confident staff who can make a real difference — even at short notice.

The Role

• Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Assist with small groups, interventions, and 1:1 support
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Follow teacher direction and school policies
• Be available from 7:00am for same-day cover calls

About You

• Recent, relevant UK primary school experience (paid or placement-based)
• Confident supporting a range of ages and abilities
• Calm, adaptable, and professional – especially when responding to last-minute bookings
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
