Premier Education is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools across New Mills and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who are seeking either part-time or full-time work. Whether you're looking for flexible supply work or a longer-term placement, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note: Applicants must have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils within the classroom on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or as a general classroom Teaching Assistant
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs to help them reach their full potential
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK primary schools is essential
- Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
