Premier Education is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools across New Mills and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who are seeking either part-time or full-time work. Whether you're looking for flexible supply work or a longer-term placement, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note: Applicants must have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils within the classroom on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or as a general classroom Teaching Assistant
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs to help them reach their full potential
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK primary schools is essential
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
