Primary School Teacher

Location: High Peak
Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Temporary, with opportunities for permanent positions
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in EYFS, KS1 or KS2? Premier Education is recruiting on behalf of a number of welcoming and vibrant primary schools across the High Peak and surrounding areas, who are seeking enthusiastic and committed teachers to join their teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs / Newly Qualified Teachers (2025) who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience or secure longer-term roles.

The Role:

  • Positions: EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Teachers (multiple opportunities available)
  • Location: High Peak and surrounding areas
  • Contract Types: Full-time, part-time, ad hoc, and permanent opportunities
  • Start Dates: Immediate and upcoming starts available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching with strong curriculum knowledge across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Use effective formative assessment to inform planning and support pupil progress
  • Plan engaging, well-structured lessons that build on prior learning and meet individual needs
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom
  • Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and dedicated staff team

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and/or KS1/KS2 curriculum
  • Confident use of assessment to inform planning and drive progress
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • A proactive and flexible approach to professional development and teamwork
