Primary Supply Teacher – Manchester Area (Longsight & Wythenshawe)
Location: Manchester, including Longsight and Wythenshawe
Contract: Flexible supply work (1–5 days per week)
Working Pattern: Choose the days that suit you
Pay: £120 – £150 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Pay Method: Paid weekly via our in-house payroll team on PAYE – no umbrella companies
About the Role
Premier Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Manchester area, including Longsight and Wythenshawe. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers, or those seeking flexible work that fits around other commitments.
We offer a variety of placements, including day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and longer-term roles across Key Stages 1 and 2. Teachers can work anywhere from 1 to 5 days per week, offering genuine flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum
Maintain a positive and well-managed learning environment
Adapt confidently to different schools, classes, and year groups
Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing
Follow school policies and behaviour procedures
Liaise with school staff to ensure smooth lesson handovers
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience teaching within primary schools (KS1 and/or KS2)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
A passion for education and making a positive impact on children’s learning
