Are you a Primary Teacher looking for flexible work from September?

Premier Education is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools throughout the High Peak area.

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility or an ECT wanting to gain valuable classroom experience, supply teaching is one of the best ways to build relationships with local schools. It gives you the opportunity to experience different settings, year groups, and teaching styles while showcasing your skills.

Many schools use supply teaching as a way of getting to know teachers before offering longer-term or permanent roles. In fact, a number of teachers working through Premier Education have secured long-term and permanent positions after impressing schools whilst on supply.

The Role:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Creating positive and engaging learning environments
  • Maintaining excellent classroom management
  • Adapting confidently to different school settings
  • Supporting pupils' learning and progress

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

What’s on Offer:

  • Flexible work to suit your availability (1–5 days per week)
  • Opportunities across a wide range of local primary schools in the High Peak area
  • Excellent opportunity to secure long-term or permanent roles
  • Competitive daily pay rates
  • Weekly pay through our in-house PAYE payroll
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated Premier Education consultant

If you are a primary teacher looking for your next opportunity to make a meaningful difference, Alistair would love to hear from you.

Please upload a full CV and include your qualification details.

Applications without required experience or qualifications will not be progressed.

The successful candidate will have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines. An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.
