We are working with a welcoming primary school seeking a dedicated and engaging Primary Teacher to deliver targeted interventions across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 1.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with small groups and making a real impact on pupil progress, particularly in core subjects and phonics.

The Role

  • Morning: Deliver targeted Year 6 intervention sessions to a small group of approximately 12 pupils, focusing on core areas in preparation for SATs.

  • Afternoon: Lead Read Write Inc. phonics interventions for Year 1 and Year 2 pupils to support early reading development.

  • Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to support pupil progress.

  • Create engaging, supportive learning environments for pupils who benefit from additional support.

  • Track progress and adapt interventions to meet pupils’ needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2

  • Confident delivering targeted interventions and small group teaching

  • Strong understanding of phonics, ideally Read Write Inc.

  • Passionate about helping pupils build confidence and achieve progress
