Primary ECT – Secure Your September Role Early

Are you finishing your PGCE this summer and starting to think about September?

Premier Education are  working closely with a number of wonderful welcoming primary schools across Wigan who are keen to support Early Career Teachers as they begin their journey.

Many of our ECTs choose to start working with us before the summer holidays, giving them the chance to:

  • Build confidence in the classroom
  • Gain experience across different year groups
  • Get to know local schools (and vice versa!)
  • Secure a long-term or permanent role ready for September

What’s on offer:

  • Opportunities in EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Short-term, long-term and trial placements
  • Schools that are open to ECTs and offer supportive environments
  • Guidance from a consultant with a teaching background

Why start before summer?

Schools often prefer to appoint teachers they already know and trust.
Working beforehand gives you a real advantage when September roles are confirmed.

Location:

Wigan and surrounding areas (placements tailored to suit your travel preferences)

Who this is for:

  • Final year PGCE students / ECTs
  • Passionate, committed and keen to develop
  • Open to gaining experience before securing a permanent role

If you’d like to get ahead and feel confident going into September, apply today or get in touch for an informal chat.

I’m a former teacher myself, so I know how overwhelming this stage can feel. Happy to just have a chat and talk through your options no pressure at all.

Premier Education is a trusted education recruitment agency, proudly supporting schools and educators across the North of England since 2001. We take the time to understand your needs and work hard to find you the right role, every time.
