About the Role

Premier Education are working with a wonderful Primary School in Wigan who are seeking a dedicated Nursery / EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team as soon as possible. The role is full-time and long-term, with the potential to continue into the next year.

As the Nursery Class Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Create an inclusive, safe and engaging classroom environment
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Support the development of early literacy, numeracy and social skills
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare of all pupils in your care

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching within the EYFS (Nursery or Reception) - essential
  • A nurturing and patient approach, with strong classroom management
  • Passion for early childhood development and learning
