HLTA – PPA Cover (KS1 & KS2)

Premier Education is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide PPA cover across KS1 and KS2 at a welcoming primary school in the Knutsford area.

The school is looking to appoint an HLTA to start either before or after the Easter break, depending on availability.

Role Details:

• Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

• Location: Knutsford area

• Start Date: Before or after Easter (flexible)

• Contract: Temporary

• Working Pattern: 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned PPA lessons across KS1 and KS2

• Confidently manage whole classes in the absence of the class teacher

• Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders

• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

Requirements:

• HLTA status – essential

• Proven experience covering classes across KS1 and KS2

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Professional, adaptable, and reliable approach
