Premier Education is currently looking for an EYFS teaching assistant for a long-term supply role in the Oldham area who have recent experience of working in EYFS age groups in primary schools.

This is a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who wants to start or continue their career in Education and is motivated to inspire learning for children. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

In the context of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the key responsibilities encompass:

Offering assistance and guidance to young learners by eliminating obstacles to their educational development.

Supporting and overseeing the process of change and transition as children progress on their path towards excellence.

Maintaining a steadfast and unwavering presence to prevent any additional disruptions to the learning environment.

Actively engaging in various aspects of the timetable to provide support across different contexts.

Conducting assessments and maintaining records to document the progress and achievements of the students.

Ideal Candidates will:

Have a good level of written and spoken English

Hold relevant experience/qualifications suited to supporting learners with additional needs.

Have experience supporting learners with ASD / anxiety and speech and language needs.

Be resilient, dedicated and reliable
